Woolpack Inn (Isle of Whithorn)

Originally a drovers' inn on the Southern foothills of the Ochil Hills, this is a genuine pub, well used by friendly locals, with a comfortable feel, log stove and low ceilings, and without intrusive TV or music.

Wordies Alehouse (Aberdeen)

A discerning ale drinker would be disappointed that this keg pub does not live up to it's name. Close to a couple of shopping centres.

Ye Olde Frigate Bar (Aberdeen)

Traditional drinking bar downstairs and plush lounge up steep stairs. Join the crew of the SS Pauline (one of the joint owners daughters) and shelter here while waiting for family shopping in Marks and Spencer. Once flirted with real ale, but no longer.
