With a mock Tudor exterior in the middle of a housing estate and near to the local Academy, and Fire station, this has a public bar, a games room with four dart boards and two pool tables and a very large lounge bar with an 84" TV screen, usually featuring sports. The location belies the formidable reputation for a regular supply of a variety of quality ales from throughout the country which has helped boost the CAMRA membership numbers in the area. 50p per pint CAMRA discount applies on production of membership card.
