Croft Inn (Glenlivet, Tomintoul)

Small, single-room bar with conservatory restaurant. The building dates from 1770 and was originally an Alms House before being used for crofting till 1973. Stands on the 'Whisky Trail' with more than 50 distilleries within a 15 mile radius and an extensive range of malts is stocked. Deliberate policy of no wi-fi to get people to talk to each other
