Boars Head (Inverurie)
Close to Inverurie but well off the beaten track, this former pub's main claim to fame is as the first ever winner of the CAMRA national pub of the year competition in 1988. The publican then moved to the Redgarth in Oldmeldrum.
Sadly, real ale is no longer available. Became a restaurant before closing.
