Meet the Mor Brewer

The Justice Mill in Aberdeen hosted a Meet the Brewer event on Thursday 15th February 2024. It was a chance to meet Dominic from the MoR brewery (based just outside Dundee), hosted by Andrew from Wetherspoons. Three MoR beers were on the bar, Green Lady (an IPA), Mor-Calm and Wise (session tropical golden ale) and Mor-Ticia (dark ale blended with a whisky barrel aged version of the same beer). All 3 were very drinkable.

After a period of dormancy, five years ago the brewery went into new ownership. A 5 barrel brewery, brewing 4 times a week, about 80 casks of various beers are produced every week. Dominic has experience brewing with Camden Town. It's a one man operation doing brewing, sales, admin and distribution. Logistics is therefore one reason we don't see a lot of the beer in Aberdeen.
